This is a Stephen Hawking Penguin book cover re-design for A Brief History Of Time From the Big Bang To Black Holes for one of my University briefs. 

My aim when designing this book cover was to create something unique in a way that would stand out in a shop, making people want to purchase the book. But also, I wanted to incorporate Steven Hawkings himself in a completely different way hence the idea of including mathematical, science equations. 

The black hole itself was to purposely create an abstract and non-identical design as Stephen Hawking once stated that the black hole isn’t so black.
